Ted is a self-taught
photographer with some 15 years of experience operating in-and-around the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire counties - he's versatile and able to photograph a variety of
subjects (see portfolio).
Since 2007, canine photography has been of special interest to him, but
landscape, macro, lifestyle portraiture photography and wedding photography are also
prominent favourites (packages available on request). In 2009 he became a World Wildlife Fund published photographer with the publication of his 'Holly Blue' butterfly photo in the 2010 and 2011 'World Wildlife Fund' butterfly calendars His pet and people portraiture work is often described more as "lifestyle" photography, catching natural and unstaged emotions as opposed to the more usual and pre-composed "studio photography". Unusually for modern times, Ted prediminantly uses professional Fuji film as opposed to digital media, depending on the requirements and intended outcomes. Being able to use both places him in an unusually unique position in the market today and enables him to offer his clients great versatility. He uses exclusively Nikon equipment. He writes an informal online blog wherein some of his favourite landscape locations are documented, along with a variety of write-ups relating to recent shoots or activities. Lifestyle shoots usually consist of morning or afternoon blocks - prices are dependant upon requirements. Wedding shoots are available on request. |
